Cub Scout Recruitment

Jody Heiman   -

Blue Grass Church is the charter sponsor for Boy Scout Troop 350 and both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts hold their meetings in the Gym at our Chapel Campus.

On Mondays, August 8th and 22nd at 6:30pm, the Cub Scouts are inviting kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade who are interested in learning more about Scouting to come check it out!

Cub Scouts provides a safe and structured environment for all kids (K-5) to have fun, learn new skills, make new friends, and learn to be responsible members of the community.

Each child will be part of a Den with other kids in the same grade to work on age-specific activities. These can range from team-based games, outdoor skills, or community service events. Scouts are rewarded for their achievements by earning awards and ranks they can show off and take pride in.

In addition to working within their Den, we also try to have at least one Pack (all Dens combined) event each month.

Although Scouting takes place all year, Scouts can work independently or with their Family if they are unable to attend all of our events.

Through our Popcorn Fundraiser we are able to offset most of the cost for our events and awards.

Our standard meeting cadence is to have a Den/Pack Meeting on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at in the gym at Blue Grass Church at 6:30 PM.

Our August 8th & 22nd meetings will be dedicated to new Scouts & Families who would like to learn more about Scouting.

Please send and EMAIL if you’d like more information.
