COVID Updates

Rev. Doug Heiman   -

UPDATE 12/9/2021
In light of the fact that Vanderburgh County is currently in the RED category according to the Indiana COVID matrix, and in the interest of public health, we’re recommending the wearing of masks at all Blue Grass Church gatherings.

UPDATE 8/10/2021 – A Message From Pastor Doug
As we continue to deal with COVID, I encourage us to take the measures that we can to keep ourselves and others safe from this relentless virus which continues to morph into new and stronger mutations.

As your pastor, I desire that we stay healthy and well physically. So, let me
encourage you to consider getting vaccinated if you have not done so, or taking other precautions to keep you and others well.

Let’s take care of ourselves so that we can effectively be the Church and live out our vision to seek and reach our world for Jesus Christ. There are so many people who need Jesus! Our world desperately needs Jesus!

As has been our policy since mid-May, masks on our campus are welcome, but optional with the exception of Home For Your Heart School which is asking all adults entering the building during school hours to wear a mask.

Additionally, if you are feeling unwell, have a cough, or a fever, we ask that you worship with us online at live.bluegrassumc.org, facebook.com/BlueGrassChurch, or bluegrassumc.org/youtube rather than attending in person.

As conditions continue to change, we will be prepared to do so as well. (In either direction.)
