Christmas Eve

Rev. Doug Heiman   -

Christmas will be here before we know it; that wonderful time of the year when we gather with family and friends to celebrate the birth of the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ. And we can’t wait to celebrate that world-changing event with you in worship on Christmas Eve.

This year, we’re going to have three in-person Christmas Eve services at our Main Campus at 3:15, 4:30, and 5:45pm. Additionally, we’ll be streaming our 5:45pm service live at live.bluegrassumc.org and on our Roku channel.

In order to make this a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved, things are going to look a bit different this year as we do everything we can to adhere to CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19.

To allow for social distancing, attendance at each of our three in-person worship services is going to be limited to the capacity we’ve had since we returned to in person worship, including seats in the Worship Center and overflow seating in the Hospitality Room.

As a way to avoid overcrowding or having to turn people away we’re going to take reservations online. To make a reservation, simply go HERE, choose your preferred service, and indicate the number of people who will be attending in your group.

Please note that while you are reserving your spots in the service, we’re not reserving specific seats. Seating for those with reservations will be on a first come-first served basis; filling Worship Center seats first and then moving into overflow seating.

Beyond the change in seating, we’re once again looking forward to a moving candlelight service together with worship, praise, and Communion as we offer thanks and give glory to God for sending his Son into the world to seek and save the lost.
