Women’s Friday Fellowship
Friday Fellowship, a weekly Bible study series for women of all ages, begins again on Friday, September 11th from 9-11am.
Everyone will gather together for a short devotional then break off into a session of your choice. The two options offered are the Titus Women’s Sewing Group or Lysa TerKeurst’s study on 1 and 2 Kings entitled Trustworthy.
The Titus group will be making sensory pads for Alzheimer’s patients and finishing some child-sized quilts for Lucas Place.
Lysa’s DVD study, Trustworthy, was filmed in Israel and will teach us how to truly trust God. When hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan we assume our life should follow, we’re much more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we begin to press into our ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try. For those unable or uncomfortable to attend in person, we plan to use a virtual option during our in-person sessions so you’ll be able to watch the video and participate in discussion.
Childcare is available if requested by September 4th.
