Fabric Face Masks For Healthcare Workers

Rev. Ben Lovell   -

As orders for disposable masks have been delayed or back-ordered in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, medical professionals who are working tirelessly on the front lines of this fight have asked for your help!

An increasing number of patient-care organizations have put out the call for people in the community to make fabric masks to fill the need and protect staff.

Do you sew? Are you in to crafts? This is a great opportunity for you to serve others in this time of social distancing.

Deaconess Hospital has not only asked for masks for their use, but have provided instructions and compiled a list of other organizations needing masks HERE.

St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville has asked that mask donations be dropped off at the Women’s and Children’s entrance which will be staffed weekdays from 7am to 5pm. Donations will only be accepted at the screening table.

Both Amy Wolf and Ginny Shrode have volunteered to offer guidance if you need it.

Thank you so much for serving those on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19!
