After an overwhelming response, our April 28th Safe Sitter Class is full. To make more space available, we’re offering a second session on Thursday, May 31st from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Safe Sitter is a medically accurate, hands-on class that teaches boys and girls, ages 11 to 14, how to handle emergencies when caring for children.
Safe Sitters learn: what to do when a child chokes; CPR; safety for the sitter; how to call for emergency help; babysitting business skills; basic childcare skills (diapering, feeding, etc); and how to entertain children and keep them safe.
The total cost of the program is $60; however, Blue Grass believes strongly in this class and equipping others that we will cover half the cost, so each individual’s portion would be $30.
The fee covers the one-day program, messenger bag, student manual, and supplies. The class size is limited to 16 students so register today!
There will be a short ceremony for students and parents starting at 3:15pm. Lunch will be provided.
