Jams & Jellies Cooking Class

Experienced in the art of preserving fresh seasonal fruits, Meagan Brothers loves sharing her wealth of knowledge with students and teaching them fail proof techniques to endeavor into preservation at home.

This class covers the basics of home preservation, including how to safely use the water bath canning process to preserve your jars for up to a year.

At the end of the class, you’ll bring home two jars of jam or jelly to show off to your friends and family, as well as the know-how to preserve your own seasonal bounty!

This class is limited to 15 students and will be held on Thursday, June 13th from 1-3pm in the Kitchen at our Chapel Campus (14240 Old Petersburg Road).
