The HeartSaver CPR & AED course is designed for those who are non-medical, who would be the first responder to an emergency in the workplace or similar setting, and/or want or need to have an American Heart Association certification card.
You will learn and practice CPR for adults, children and infants on individual mannequins using a face mask or shield for airway management. You will learn and practice with an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). You will learn how to relieve choking due to a foreign-body obstruction.
The course is taught by an American Heart Association (AHA) certified instructor and follows the AHA guidelines for course content and structure.
The class will be held on Saturday, June 16th from 8:30 to 11:30am in the Hospitality Room at our Main Campus.
The cost $20 per person and the class size is limited to 12 students.
