Blood Pressure Screenings
A life saving test, worth a few minutes of your time.
Beginning in October, our Healthcare Ministry will offer blood pressure screenings on the first Sunday of each month. Licensed healthcare professionals will provide screenings from 7:45-9:15 and 10:45-noon in the Hospitality Room.
According to the American Heart Association about 80 million U.S. adults have been diagnosed with hypertension or high blood pressure. It’s known as the “silent killer” because it typically has no symptoms. Hypertension can have deadly consequences if not diagnosed and treated. The good news is that hypertension is manageable. Learn what your blood pressure numbers mean and protect yourself and those you love from the “silent killer’s” serious consequences.
The test is simple and the results are critical, especially if your numbers are high. Please bring a list of your medications with you to the screening. This will give us a better picture of your healthcare needs.
