Junior High

Our Junior High Ministry is designed to help students in 7th and 8th grade connect and grow in their faith in a fun and safe environment.

Sunday School classes meet every Sunday morning at our Main Campus at 9:30am. This a space for 7th and 8th graders to ask questions, study the Bible, and have a lot of fun in the process. In Junior High Sunday School, students will come together with friends they already know, and others they have yet to meet, to study the Bible in a way that connects it to their daily lives.

Missions projects will give 7th and 8th graders opportunities to go into our community to serve. Together, they’ll partner with local organizations that are working to make a real difference in the community. We want everyone to know that they can be part of God’s mission in the world, and you’re never to young to start.

We also have fun outings where we go see movies, go to trampoline parks, concerts, and other exciting events where we just have fun being together as a group and having a good time. As the Church, we are a community, and part of that is enjoying times of fun alongside times of study and service.

THE JUMP – We also offer THE JUMP, which is designed to help those transitioning from 6th to 7th grade to get connected to the Junior High Ministry at Blue Grass through targeted events over the Summer. These Summer events will be for all students entering 7th and 8th grade in the upcoming school year. Together they’ll participate in fun events, outings, and service projects designed to help them get connected and develop lasting friendships. We want to help students transition well as they enter Junior High and become part of the youth group at Blue Grass.

If you have questions about out Junior program, want to get involved as a volunteer, or want your child to take part in this program, please contact Levi Suffel.
