What Does God Expect of Us?
Rick Stearnes, the CEO of Lenox China transformed into the CEO of World Vision International, would like to challenge you to look more closely into Jesus' call for your life, to be His healing hands in the world today, to expand your personal and transforming faith into a public and transforming relationship with the poor.
Blue Grass Church will take that challenge as we begin Jan 2010. As we have traveled the Daily Walk Bible in 2009, we will travel together again through Rick's book The Hole in Our Gospel for six weeks from Jan 10-Feb 14, 2010.
This book covers Rick's story from Lenox to World Vision and the world he encountered as he toured the world through the eyes of the poor. Our Sunday sermons and worship will be focused on this challenge. A 6-week DVD study series will also be available for the small groups to use. The hardback book and audio version of The Hole in Our Gospel will be available for purchasing at the Welcome Desk in Dec 09. Watch for more details in December.
