Kite Sunday

Join us on Kite Sunday for some old fashioned FUN, fellowship, and food!

On Sunday, April 28th, all kids through 6th grade will be given a free kite by our Children’s Ministry. Following the 9:30 and 10:50 services, we invite all of our kids, the young and the young-at-heart, to go outside and fly their kites on our campus grounds.

We encourage our entire Blue Grass Family to be a part of this event whether it be by helping a younger child fly a kite, or watching all of the kites in the sky. Extra hands are needed so that every child has the opportunity to fly their kite.

As part of Kite Sunday, the youth mission team will be selling lunch to help fund their upcoming mission trip. So plan to grab a bite to eat, and enjoy a casual time of community, conversation, and kites! This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family to visit our campus, get to know our Blue Grass family, and have FUN.

If you can’t stay after worship, feel free to get your kids a FREE kite to take home! In the event of rain, the kite flying will be cancelled. Food will still be available for purchase.
