Ladies, is something missing from your week? Are you looking for something, but uncertain what it is? Fellowship? Worship? Time in the Word? Fresh hot coffee? If so, then the Women’s FridayFellowship is what you are searching for!
The Women’s Friday Fellowship is a spiritual gathering time that meets weekly at our Main Campus beginning Friday, August 18, from 9-11 AM. Our morning includes worship songs with Melody Plisky and Nancy English, a main message with Sue Kincaid exploring the theme of Waiting on God, and three break-out sessions.
The first breakout session, led by Melody Plisky, is on Lysa TerKeurst’s Uninvited, a DVD study on living loved in Jesus when you feel “less than,” left out, and lonely. The second break-out, led by Carol Riggs, will be the Titus group, a group of women who will sew wash cloth mitts for North Park Nursing Center and pieced fleece pillows. A third break-out session, led by Megan Southwell, is a beginner’s Bible study which will enable you to grow in Christian community and dig in His Word to gain a deeper understanding of who God is as we see Him “From Savior to Friend.” Bring your Bibles every week.
If you need childcare, we need names and ages when you register. Our precious childcare servants must be interviewed and background checked so we need time to coordinate this. All childcare requests must be made no later than August 6th.
